zapmore
Hello, Just installed Prestashop 1.6 with default theme. I want ti use the Layered Block Module to sort my products using different Features (as the cloth samples). However it seems that color can only be a Feature, and to add a feature to a product, I need to use product combination. The products I have don't need combinations, I just want the customer to sort the products using color. Is this possible? if yes, how?
NemoPS
I think you mixed features with attributes. You can use features without creating a combinations. Just make sure you refer to "Features" and not to "attributes" when you create the color and assign it to the product

If I create color as a feature instead of an attribute, I don't get the nice color picker that later shows the color to the customer. Or am I missing something here? NemoPS
No, you are correct. There is no way to get it without modifications, at the moment. If you want, you can try with some template + css comodifications, like giving the feature box a class representing the value, and target it from css. ANything you might want to try? Thank you very mush for your input, and that you are willing to help. However, I don't feel comfortable right now to change the default behavior before I get the basics up and running. Thank you anyway!
