hitgram Posted December 12, 2014 Share Posted December 12, 2014 How do you remove category number from a url for example I have friendly url set up and it looks like this.. http://www.mydomain.com/13-new-car I want just... http://www.mydomain.com/new-car I'm looking at SEO & URL's now and at "route to category" Should I change this? Garbus Posted December 12, 2014 Share Posted December 12, 2014 (edited) Hi hitgram, To change this url, you have to log in your admin panel. Click on "Preferences >> Seo & Url". Look at the bottom of this page and you'll find the part called "schema of urls". Here, you can change the shape of any url of your website. To remove the id category from url, simply remove the "{id}" from the field called "route to categories". Best regards, Guy. TIP: there is no issue with category/product ID. Changing native core PrestaShop is not recommended.
