Quantity Discount for one Item

Hi everyone,

 

I so far love prestashop but something this simple is becoming very difficult for me so I appreciate any help.

 

I need a product to have different quantities and pricing. Dropdown box or radio box or similar.

 

$ 4.95

Qty 5 $19.75

Qty 10 $29.50

 

or something similar.

If you need a radio, and only want  people to buy defined quantities, then you should use combinations. There problem then becomes managing stock though, as it would pull one unit out of the combination instead of x out of the main product.

Otherwise you can use quantity discounts, but you have to modify product.tpl and add both smarty code and javascript so that a select box modifies the hidden quantity box.

I used attributes and combinations to get what I wanted but like you say the stock will be off.
