From shtml to html

Hi everybody,

 

I have moved a store from a previous system and server using .shtml suffix for products and categories pages to a new one with prestashop (1.5.6.2).

 

In order to keep the previous seo, i have modified the link settings of my products and categories in  Préférences > SEO & URLs
with these  :

 

{rewrite}.shtml for the products

{categories:/}{rewrite}.shtml for the categories

 

But no way ! in both cases prestashop returns an error : this page doesn't exist

 

If i use .html instead it works perfectly.

 

I am wondering if the problem comes from prestashop or from my new host (ovh in france).

 

Any idea somebody ? Thank's for your help
