Couple Questions

I'm a newbie to Prestashop 1.6 and have a couple questions to ask.

 

1. I installed PrestaCleaner which basically removed everything such as products etc, but how do I get rid of the stats via the dashboard section?

2. When I try to add a new theme I click on prefrences then themes but there is not an "Add New Theme" section at the top right, there is only an export theme. Does anyone know how to fix this?

3. How does one go about editing the actual website? Is this done through modules? I.e editting the About Us, Contact Us sections. Also, if you don't mind answering, is it possible to move these sections around? If so, how? I would like the About Us page to go towards the top area of the website

4. How do you remove the slideshow on the home page and also the "Sale 70% off all products" at the very top of the deafult theme?

5. One last question. Under the feature products (where it has the prestashop facebook plugin) how would you edit that whole entire section?

Hi

 

1) Don;t know

2) Hmm, not sure

3) Yes, mostly through modules. You can move them around to an extend using Modules>positions. There is als the "Live" edit to help with moving things on the front page (Again from Modules > position

4) Again this is a module. look for the slider module and disable (not uninstall until you are sure you donlt want it, and have picked the right module)

5)These are two separate modules (facebook (Facebook Like Box block) is seperate to the other two which is the custom cms module
