stacyiphone
Hi. MUCH appreciative of any support you are able to give me. I'm about to set up my store and I need to be able to make it so my customers can narrow down their search results by multiple attributes in one search.. ie. I'm selling songs ..I want the customer to be able to have 4 categorized lists (or dropdown) to narrow results. GENDER - TEMPO - MOOD - GENRE I need them to be able to choose their liking in all 4 categories so that their results are refined. If any were left blank, it would show all results from the unselected categories. and am wondering a) can this be done with Prestashop, and how do I go about this?I did this with squirrelcart years back by assigning each song(item) all of it's relative category attributes.. but want to make sure this is possible with Prestashop before diving in too deep. Many thanks. Hopefully I'm not in over my head here as it's been years - but I'm low on budget and trying to build this myself rather then hiring someone. TaDah
I am looking for a similar thing for a parts store I am setting up. I have been searching for weeks and found nothing. This morning I was searching for something totally unrelated and found something called Vehiclefits, but the down side is that it is only compatible with version 1.5 as it hasnt been updated since 2013. Perhaps it may work, I will let you know, but this sounds like something you are looking for?
TaDah
EDIT: Dont bother. I have spent most of the day trying to get it to work on Prestashop and Magento, but all attempts resulted in the same thing of database connection problems. From what I have read it had bugs that were not ironed out and a few disgruntled customers. Back to the drawing board for me.
