Accidental delete through Live Edit. Help.

So i was working on my site, and the drop menu stopped working. So i went into the backend and played with things (I am new to prestashop). Somehow i found a live edit feature that i had not seen before. Clicked it and deleted the advertising banner (or so i though). I refreshed the page, and the 'New products' block was gone. 

 

How do i get it back.

 

Also, is there anything special i should do to get drop down menus? i worked for the default 'Women' category, but when i deleted it and made my own categories, with sub categories. They had no drop down.

 

I am new to all of this, so know that i have no clue about anything except the very basic.
