matloki
I'd like to force the tracking shipment if the total value of the order is over a certain amount. I can accept to risk a claim if the total value of the goods is low but I don't want to have trouble if the order is over some $$$. There is way to do it? Thanks a lot. matloki
Hello, Not sure I get your idea. Can you re-phrase it? Tung Hi Tung, thanks for your help, really appreciate. I try to explain it better. I've for sale goods starting from 5 euro to more than 100 euro. If you order something for 5 euro you can choice the shipping, it means you'll choice priority (not tracked and cheaper), but if you order 100 euro probably you will choice priority too but that's not ok for me cause in case of paypal claim I can't prove the shipment. So I wanna protect myself forcing the customer to select the tracking shipment if the order costs more than let's say 30 euro. At the moment I can choice the shipping based only on a single item but what about when one customer will order more than one item and the sum will be over 30 euro? I mean no problem to waste 5 euro but if you order 10 item x 5 euro, I'd like to avoid to lose 50 euro in case of claim coming from paypal so I wanna "force" you to have only the tracking option in this case. Hope it's more clear Thanks a lot once again, hope to hear you soon. PS: also do you know how to add the paypal fees? On virtuemart it's easy here I didn't find... yet
tomerg3
If you set up shipping by price ranges, you can limit the "cheap / basic" shipping only up to $100, after-which that carrier will be disabled, and only the "express" carrier will be available.
Tung at RockPOS.com
Yes, what Tomerg said is totally correct. For adding paypal fee, I haven't tried these but I think they meet your expectations: http://www.bvkyazilim.com/cart/pricing-discounts/prestashop-additional-payment-fees.html http://prestadev.pl/en/33-paypal-module-additional-fee-payment-module.html Hope this helps! hubik.tomas
Careful with this module. It has one bug that Patryk is not able to fix. When you are using more payment options than it may happen that the fee is added to wrong payment method when the customer changes his mind and hit back during the checkout. Patryk was promising a fix, but never actually fixed it. He has tons of excuses and super long delays in communication. After a year of constant reminders there is no output so I strongly encourage anybody to buy a different module where the developer is competent and fair and not like this one. Dealing with Patryk Marek is just a huge pain without any outcome.
