Hi there,

Newbie here, please could someone enlighten me, on the google sitemap module you are asked to check or uncheck boxes, see image below, for SEO purposes what should be check, or should I create sitemap with no boxes checked.

Also you are given to urls to submit which one is the correct one to send to webmaster tools there is a top url and one called This URL is the master Sitemaps file. It refers to the following sub-sitemap files:

Only check what you don't want google index.

You just need to index your home, products and categories page. Others pages won't help you to get trafic from organic google search

Do you mean that it is better to check all with 3 exeptions (home, products and categories)? Is it better or simple it will have the same organic google searches?

Thanks

your website important pages are home, products and category. all others pages are not mandatory to index (sorry for my english but i hope you will understand)

Your english is clear, don't warry.

My question is: is it useful (I got your point that it is not mandatory) to include in the sitemap the other pages? or doesn't matter? Is it better to include them or it is the same? I'm thinking that it is better to include all because (few) clicks could come from the other pages, so why avoid it?

If pages don't generate duplicate content then you can index them. i don't understand what is the "relation" between click and index a page.

People will find you thanks to your keywords in product and category pages. You will never get trafic from "best sales" page for example.. this page will be visited but not directly reached from google.

Hi,

I am not an expert neither in this forum nor in Prestashop, but my question is very simple:

In my shop I have also configured a blog from smartdatasoft, but the sitemap generatos in prestashop 1.6.0.9 dont put any reference to the posts.

Can I do something to configure this matter?

Regards
