Blenderbox
I can’t see the mail alerts module in the modules list of the back office. I have this problem since I updated Prestashop to the last version and changed the theme, now I’m using default-bootstrap theme. I’ve checked the filter (Installed & Not Installed, Enabled & Disabled). The module files are in the modules directory on the server, and it’s working fine on local. I’ve tried to install the earlier mailalerts version that vekia posted here: http://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/363883-solvedmodule-email-alerts-missing-in-1609/, through the back office, and it shows a black space where it should be the module (see the screenshot). If I click the update link the same thing happens. On the modules directory through FTP, I can see the module file created. Then I’ve deleted this version, and upload the latest one from github (https://github.com/PrestaShop/mailalerts) through the back office, and it shows the blank space like before. In this case, the module file it hasn’t been created on the server. I’ve tried to upload it manually but nothing happens. I don’t know what else to try. I need help please!! Thanks! shacker
try to configure any module, and in the url of the module configuration, change the module name to mailalerts and check if you can use it.
Blenderbox
Hi shacker, Thanks for your answer. Yes, I can use it. Although I did other thing before that may help someone. I went to ps_module table on data base, searched the mailalerts line and deleted the line. Then I went to the back office and the module was there, so I installed and configured the module, but when I went back to the module list it was gone. And now I can see the module configuration thanks to your advice, but what can I do to solve the problem? Because this is not a permanent solution. Thanks a lot! shacker
ok, can you add the module to the module table? and check in the hooks too. maybe you can check in local installation and create the same config
Blenderbox
Sorry, I don’t know what you mean. The module is already in the module table and in the hooks table too.. Thanks!
shacker
is that i mean. try to uninstall (use the url like in configuration if uninstall dont work) and check if is uninstalled in modules table
Blenderbox
I found the problem. I compared the database of a clean installation with mine, and the problem was on the module_preference table. Delete all rows in that table solved my problem. Thanks for your help anyway!
