Help with Attributes... or something!

Hello guys, hoping that you can help me with something I'm really stuck with and I urgently need to resolve for my client which is a lingerie store.

 

Let me explain (I hope you understand).

 

So... my client has let's say "unique" products, a panty, a bra, etc... Those I have no problems with...

 

But then he has other products which he likes to call "Coordinados" (coordinate), which may not mean anything to you, but this is what it is: It's a product which is a complete set, panty, bra, gloves, suspenders, etc... There may be up to 6 pieces which conform the set. So, my client, wants the store users to be able to select either, the complete set, or maybe just the panties, or maybe just the bra... etc...

 

So, I tried making packages of products, but that didn't work, because it doesn't make the user choose the attributes of each individual product of the set (i.e. Small, Blue, etc...), it just adds all the products in the package to their cart, so I ruled that option out.

 

My next "solution", was to make a group of attributes, which says what piece the user is choosing (i.e. Complete Set, Only Panty, Only Bra, Only Suspender, etc...). That is let's say, working for now, the problem now is, that if for example I choose "Complete Set", and I click add to cart, it does it, but I never chose the size, color, etc... of each piece of the set, so that's no good because I can't have my client calling his costumers to figure out what size/color they wanted.

 

So I thought, OK, let's make it validate that the user is choosing an attribute, before it adds it to the cart, so when we click add to cart, it detects the user hasn't chosen any attributes so it won't let him pass. The problem NOW is... what happens if the user chooses "Only Panty", the validation will be for all fields (Bra Size, Panty Size, Suspender Size, etc...) Not just for the panty size.

So, my question is, does any one know how we could do the validation individually... OR, if you know of a module which can do this (which would probably be a faster solution).
