Jimbola
Hi all, Just read about a new EU law that will affect EU business to consumer transaction for digital downloads. Essentially if you sell software downloads to other EU countries these will now be subject to the VAT rules of the country in which the consumer resides. Most member nations Tax revenue services have created some kind of one-stop quarterly return system you can sign up to rather than registering for VAT in each country. Some of the issues this raises for Prestashop is some of the data requirements (location), and VAT registration (is the customer a Business or Consumer) details capture during registration, and VAT generation of invoice in each state. Has anyone else come this rule called "2015 VAT for cross-border supplies of digital services" and is Prestashop doing anything to modify PS to accommodate these law changes?
