Add H1 tag on index page

Hi everybody!

I would like to add the famouse H1 tag on the index page... however I'm not sure how to do it.

 

I've read some fórums talking about it and I have seen to main options:

 

- Add it to the logo

- Add it to the featured products module

 

The first option seems te best one, but in my case it is the difficult one because I'm not sure were to place it in the code.

 

The second one seems more easy but in my opinion it would be also less effective.

 

Can anybody help me to decide and give my a hand to modify the code?
