El Patron
you will need to follow the upgarde guide step by step http://doc.prestashop.com/display/PS16/Updating+PrestaShop#UpdatingPrestaShop-UpdatingPrestaShop it is key to build a copy of production shop and test upgrade method you should 'never' upgrade on production shop....ever... 1.6 is dreamy

Pronux
@artisanquarters Please provide us a quick feedback here after you have upgraded to 1.6, I'm very interested in your opinion (especially about the new template/how you updated your template). El Patron
ok...back on topic. follow prestashop gudielines... do not skip steps... create copy of production shop, best to use folder if that is how prod is, use subdomain to do work or localhost... then back that up so you can restore so you can do multiple upgrade attempts... this is how we do it, just follow best practices.... good luck with upgrade, you going to love 1.6...
