Not all products can be saved as a accessory of other product

I try to add a product as accessory of another product. When i hit save, it disappears.

When i add some other product as accessory, it does save it.

I cannot figure why one product does and the other product doenst get saved. I cant see any difference between the products.

I found the problem. Some of my products are listed like:

PVC platen Standaard | 2mm dik | 20cm breed | 50m lengte

This cannot be added as accessory. I changed the name to 

PVC platen Standaard 2mm dik 20cm breed 50m lengte

This does work!

So probably its the "|" what causes this problem (BUG?!)
