What is the purpose of this module, and is it required for Google Analytics to perform properly? bellini13 Posted December 10, 2014 Share Posted December 10, 2014 From what I can tell looking at some of the source code, it appears that some of the stats on the back office dashboard are being pulled from google analytics if the API is installed. I have just set-up a new page and noticed on the dashboard at the bottom of the left hand column underneath the sub heading "Traffic" there is a link 'Link to your Google Analytics account'. When this is clicked it redirects to the Google Analytics API configuration page. On setting this page up the dashboard and the stats pages show additional analytics information.
