BlizzardUK
My brother-in-law is wanting me to create him a store for his second hand DVDs and VHS videos that he normally sells on Amazon marketplace. I will use Prestashop 1.6 for him. I already run a 1.4 Prestashop so I know roughly have to use things. Importing items from his Amazon account seems possible via Prestashop Manager which I have, so this would take care of a lot of stock. However, he has a lock-up full of other DVDs and VHS tapes, for that we are hoping to be able to scan with a Apple or Android mobile device and import the info to Prestashop. Either via Excel sheet, or even better a direct import method to the Prestashop store, then from there I can change weights, quantities, prices and so on. Anyone know the best way to do this ? What apps or software or modules ? Paid ones are fine. So to say again, mainstream DVDs and VHS tapes, scanned with barcodes (IMDB or Amazon info), then put to Prestashop 1.6. I own Prestashop Manager Pro if that helps. Many thanks for any advice !!
tuk66
I have always success with Excel. Store all your information in a table and create a CSV at the end to import data to PrestaShop.
BlizzardUK
What is the best barcode app to create an excel file from ? Thanks.
tuk66
It depends. Some barcode scanners have a memory and some just mimis keyboard. You should fill the table without too much effort, to my mind.
