simon_68
Hi, I'd need your help again. I've migrated my store from Joomla/VM to PrestaShop 1.6, it supports 5 languages. In the old shop, the store name was long and translated to each language. Good thing was that "Irma's Bobbin Lace Patterns" means something for our English speaking customers, "Irma Pervanja, disegni per merletti a tombolo" means something in Italian and so on. Now to my questions - is it possible to do the same in PrestaShop? And, maybe more important, is it better from SEO point of view to have shorter store name and put "Irma's Bobbin Lace Patterns" to site meta description? Many thanks, Simon Edited January 6, 2015 by simon_68 (see edit history)
dioniz
If you mean Page title, you can change it in BO > Preferences > SEO & URLs
simon_68
Yes, I tried this, but it changes name only on one page, index for example. What I want is changed store name everywhere so that page titles and consequent google search results would be like this in Italian: Irma Pervanja, disegni per merletti a tombolo - Figure Irma Pervanja, disegni per merletti a tombolo - Modelli piccoli Irma Pervanja, disegni per merletti a tombolo - Nuovi disegni And like this in English: Irma's Bobbin Lace Patterns - Motifs Irma's Bobbin Lace Patterns - Smaller Irma's Bobbin Lace Patterns - New patterns
dioniz
I'm not sure that can be done like that, maybe someone else know it
simon_68
The solution is described here http://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/341537-solved-different-site-name-for-different-languages/
