Elaine Leung
Hi I submitted my sitemap to Google webmaster tool. I got an error message from Google. One error, General HTTP error:404 not found. We encountered an error while trying to access your Sitemap. Please ensure your sitemap follows our guidelines. Please help and advise me what can I do. Thank you in advance. Kind regards Elaine www.naturalskincarelondon.co.uk
moraira
oops you didn`t type the error mate. your sitemap is in the right place: http://naturalskincarelondon.co.uk/1_en_0_sitemap.xml it means you have an error inside, maybe you have lock some product after upload your sitemap or you have change any url after upload the sitemap. for example https://naturalskincarelondon.co.uk/en/contact-us '>https://naturalskincarelondon.co.uk/en/contact-us upload the sitemap and then change the web to https://naturalskincarelondon.co.uk/en/contact You will have and error in this web, google couldn´t find it To solve it, you must: 1) go to sitemap module and regenerate it 2) go to google webmasters tools and send again But before is better if you locate the fault. tell us the error message of google, which web it can not find
Elaine Leung
Hi Moraira Thank you for reply. I went to google sitemap module and generate the sitemap manually and submitted to webmaster tools successfully. Please advice me that in 'Configuration information page' has the following message: LIST OF CHANGED FILES Changed/missing files have been detected. Missing files (1)sitemap.xml What should I do relate to this message? Thank you in advance. Kind regards Elaine
