Stock without stock quantity

Hi,

 

I am trying to find solution how to have in products two stock status without quantity. I mean that I switch stock status to available and that is all no quantity and then I will switch to unavailable.

 

Do you know some solution how to do it?

Do you mean in the front end you want to show available / out of stock instead of the actual stock level?

I mean in front-end and also in back-end. My problem is that when I add some stock quantity and customer create order then stock quantity will be lower but I want to have still same stock quantity.

So another question. Can you someone help me to find file where is updated stock quantity after order?

I think what your trying to do is not let customer see stock quantity is low on some products maybe?

I try to explain it better. I need to show on product detail page if product is on stock or not. Let's say when some product has 100 pieces in stock and some customer order 3 pieces of this product after order stock quantity of this product will be still 100 not 97 pieces. And I think that the best way how to do it is delete function which update stock quantity after order.

 

Do you know what I want to do?
