Alatriste
Hello all, Ok so I'm trying to regenerate image's miniatures (Preferences-->Images-->Regenerate miniatures) but all my attempts have been unsuccessful so far. Everyt time I try, I get the same error: "Oops, something went wrong. Try to refresh this page or feel free to contact us if the problem persists" I have the permissions of the img folder set to 777 temporarily, but the problem persists. This is driving me nuts. Any ideas anyone? I use Prestashop 1.5.6.1. Thanks very much in advance, Alatriste
tomerg3
Does the error show up right away, or after a few seconds / minutes? Does it happen for all image types?
Alatriste
The error screen comes after a few seconds. I would say it is 10-15 seconds after I press the button to start the regenerating process.
tomerg3
Then it is more likely related to a timeout or memory issue. Did you check those settings using phpinfo()? Did you try to regenerate a small section, like category images and only 1 size?
Alatriste
Ok. Following your advice, I have been able to regenerate a small section at a time (manufacturers, which is the one I needed to regenerate), interestingly enough. Seems that like you say the problem is being caused by a timeout issue. How could this be addressed? How can I check (and what do I have to check) those settings using phpinfo()? Thanks a lot.
