User login broken

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone and i hope someone has an answer to my problem.

On my www.androidmediaplayer.ro prestashop 1.6 site, when i create an account it's ok (the user is created without showing the message that user was created) but when i try to login with that account it's showing me nothing (it should redirect me to my-account page but it doesn't)

Hope you can help me!

Hi,

I just tried to go to your site www.androidmediaplayer.ro to take a look but your site is not loading bud, I would need to look at your site to try and see what is happening

Many thanks

Hello Dominic!

I just started over recreating my site and until now i am unable to reproduce the error. It was the thing that when you create your account it didn't display a message that you created the account (the account it's created back office) and when you tried to login with that account or any registered account you didn't get any error it just stayed on that page and not making redirect to my-account page.

Please excuse my poor language...Thank you very much!

try commenting out the following line (should be around line 189) in your modules/statsdata/statsdata.php file:

HTML Code:
$params['cookie']->id_guest = $guest->id;

Ok i will try that...Can i do this now? Because for the moment the login is working ok...

Thank you soooo much Dominic for helping me and i hope this will solve my problem...  :)

Ok then..I will not fix it yet to not broke it lol...But if the problem occurs i will try your fix...Can there be any reason that this can occur? Maybe i tried to translate modules in my native language and broke something inside tpl files?  :ph34r:

That is possible but I am aware that there was an issue like this some time back with older versions of prestashop and it had something to do with cache's and cookies on sites and that was the fix a lot of people used.
