Categories and product names not showing in admin

Recommended Posts

Hello, I'm using a theme from leothemes, I've installed two times the prestashop and the same error comes up, the categories and products names are not showing in admin anymore. Instead of the name appears two dashes "--". But if you enter in a category, the name is there. Also, not only these pages, when I go to SEO & URLs, the page title and friendly url are with the dashes too. And happens the same thing, when I enter there to edit, the names are there.

that's strange because front office theme can't affect back office.

please go to prefrences and try to disable non default modules and overrides (in preferences there is an option to to this in bulk)

btw. language translation for these products and other names exists?

No change at all... I've looked into the database and there are many equal category names for different languages, at least looks like it.

if you open category edit product page, near product name you've got language switcher (flags) each language is defined ? especially translation for language that you use as back office language

Yes, everything is defined. But I think I figured out what was the problem... After cleaning the customers and orders tables, this happens, maybe it is some kind of trigger to do that because it's prohibited to delete this stuff? Is there any safe way to do that before going into production?

prestashop module named prestashop cleaner should be solution for you

it's free default addon, should be a part of BO (modules > modules > PSCLEANER)

Yeah, that's the one I used, later I tried to delete everything myself looking for tables in the database, same result. But thanks anyway!
