abaij
Hallo all, I've been searching quite sometimes to solve my problem but I just couldn't find the solution. I'm working on prestashop in my Macbook locally, but I find that the back office/admin panel is running very very slow. Only back office, the front store is fine. I wondered if the back office of prestashop using resources in the internet, so I tried to disconnect my internet access. Amazingly, it loaded very fast. So I'm now sure that this problem has something to do with internet connection. I got bad internet connection in last few days, so I think this problem is caused by it. But why? Does any body have an experience to solve this problem? Is there a way how to make prestashop doesn't use internet connection?
El Patron
all those cool front office features ccc .css .js, load javascript bottom... do not exist in back office.... so...depending on hosting/internet speed...well...it's not very zippy. I write modules first for my own shops, then resell the good ones here is one of my fav, zoom zoom http://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/329251-module-bozoom-prestashop-back-office-performance-for-15-16/
vekia
I wondered if the back office of prestashop using resources in the internet, so I tried to disconnect my internet access. Amazingly, it loaded very fast. prestashop trying to connect to ther services to download information about updates etc. sometimes it's worth to check if your host doesnt block outgoing connections to external websites while you open your back office, you see "loading" icon all the time ? bellini13
gamification module calls home... if the Prestashop servers that receive the requests and respond are slow... then it will slow down your site
