[HOW TO] Configure Media Servers or CDN in Prestashop

Hi, Prestashop community. I need to configure my prestashop media servers so that I get benefit of this feature.

 

As far as I know, the benefits of doing this are:

- reduce my page loading time

- reduce server CPU loading and bandwidth use

 

I'm currently paying for 2 shared hosting services so, why not to give it a try?

 

As far as I understand, I have to copy the following folders to the URLs where I'll pull the data from, right?:

 

- img

- js

- themes

- css

 

Once I have copied these folders, all I have to do is to point Prestashop Media servers to these subdomains, is that right?

 

If so, once this is done, what'll happen if I create a product and upload its images as usual. Will these go directly to the subdomain that I just created and that contains the copy of the img folder?
