way to create 2 navigation

Hi,

I'm setting a site for phone accessories (in US) . But I have difficulties to configure the navigation panel.
I try to give the user ability to search the phone accessories by it brands or carriers.

I already try 2 different ways, but still not give me what i'm looking for:
The first:
I just create in Categories and add products by its level.
(1) Carriers
(1) ATT
(Phone Model 1)
(Product Accessory)
(2) Brands
(1)Nokia
(Phone Model 1)
(Product Accessory)
The problem with this, I have to input the same product but in different parents

The second:
I create a navigation with tags, I put in each product accessories a tag for its carrier.
But the problem is only show all the lists of the product accessories, without the phone models.

What I'm trying to get is when user search the product from phone carriers, it will be show :
Phone carriers > Phone models > Product
and if the user navigate from brands :
Phone brands > Phone models > Product

Any other sugestion for this kind of problems
