Paypal Sandbox testing doesn't seem to work in 1.6.0.9

Hi all,

 

Hoping someone may have seen this error already and be able to help.

 

Info:

Prestashop 1.6.0.9 

PayPal Europe Module version v3.7.2. 

 

Have setup Sandbox Paypal accounts at Paypal.

 

If I enter the Sandbox credentials (username,password,signature) and select "Test Mode" I get the error "<b>PayPal response:</b> ->"

 

If use live mode and LIVE PayPal credentials then it works. 

 

Other settings in Paypal module config for reference :

 solution "Website Payments Standard". 

 express checkout : YES

 Paypal login : NO

 Use a Sandbox : testmode

 Payment Type : Direct Sales

 

 

Have I misunderstood the config?  I retrieved the Sandbox credentials from the developer.paypal.com site directly as the FIND MY CREDENTIALS in Prestashop paypal module doesn't recognise the sandbox credentials.

 

Any help appreciated, otherwise I will have to look at alternative hosted ecommerce solutions.

Thanks Nemo1, a little disappointed in the response to this post as someone must have tried to use SandBoxes with PayPal and the latest version.

 

If you do manage to solve this could you let me know as I'm stalled without being able to test and will have to revert to a restrictive hosted solution for a shop that has PayPal support.
