installed but front end doesn't show the web, only the directories (index.php is there!)

hi there, before at all thanks a lot for your time!

 

im trying to get some help with my prestashop installation, i already do everything in the installation as the documentation says but the front end of my store doesn't work, doesn't load the index.php file, i already changed permissions and still not working at all, i'm lost and can't found anything on forums

the backend works very fine as i can see

all i see is a directory listing.

 

I do not see index.php or the config folder in that listing

There are a lot of php files missing there. Try to unzip prestashop_1.6.0.9.zip again and start new instalation

i already uncompress the files again but still not working

Where did you extract your files? To what folder? As i can see you have it in folder prestashop. Is that where you want it?

i want to install it on root 

already conected the database and the backend works perfectly

but why doesnt work

i already installed into prestashop folder and it works but i wanted to move it to root and already do the url change to ( / ) in preferences but still doesnt loading the #&*$#@^ index.php

also regenerate robots.txt

and regenerate the .htaccess but doesnt work, 

 

looks like prestashop isnt so good as people say, too many dificultes for a single tiny and stupid thing....
