vekia Posted November 13, 2014 Share Posted November 13, 2014 this is feature to avoid problems with orders for exmaple, for your order you will use carrier with id 4 then in back office if you will change carrier settings, for example, price, or name - order details will be changed too. without this feature each modification of the carrier will affect orders carrier specification. this is why each modification of carriers creates new instances of the same carrier in database, to avoid problems with orders and to save consistency of db.
