Anyway to set number of new products on the left column?

Hi all,

 

Currently we have the "New product block" module that show new products on the index page, and on the left column of product page.

 

So, is there any way to have 100 new products on the index page, and 30 new products on others.

 

I set the "Products to display" field to 100, but it affect in all pages.

 

Please give me some your ideas
