Add left column with CMS category links

I am creating static pages using the CMS pages and categories but I would like to add a left column to the left of my content with links for that particular CMS category with the CMS links for that category. How do I do that? I cannot figure out how to add modules to pages. I'm new to using PrestaShop.

If there's not a way to add the left column module onto the CMS pages, is there a way I can do it manually with the html code? Where do I access the code?
