asgllccb
I created a backup of my site on a wamp server and updated it to 1.6.0.8, making a log to track everything that worked in the update and everything worked fine on wamp. I then worked through the same process with my live site and everything worked except that the custom CMS block does not appear to be installing and configuring with the database. I am totally puzzled. I have disabled and uninstalled then re-installed the custom CMS block. My understanding and in the test wamp site this block creates/uses data in the ps_info, ps_info_lang, ps_lang and ps_lang_shop database files. In the wamp test site, as data changes in these database files or the custom CMS block, the respective changes also are reflected in the opposite; however, in my live site, none of this is happening. No Matter many times things are changed in either the custom CMS block or the database info, they are not reflected in the other. I also noticed that uninstalling and re-installing the module in the back office does not appear to have any effect on database files, either in the creation of the associated database files or, that I can find, in any other database files. I also tired to manually install the module by placing copies of the program and database files from my test site into the appropriate places on the live site, but nothing is working. Does anyone have any ideas or insights into what I can do to fix this or figure out what is going on? Any thoughts/guidance/feedback, etc is greatly appreciated. Thanks everyone.
