FoodFromCyprus
Hi Guys, Our online shop uses Presta 1.4.4.0 Our URL is: http://foodfromcyprus.com/ We recently had a few customers who registered with an address: 1 Infinite Loop 95014 Cupertino They look like legitimate customers but I cannot understand why this address shows up. I found an old thread on the forums with somebody facing the same problem but he never received a reply from anyone: http://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/209118-apple-headquarters-address-on-order/?hl=%2Binfinite+%2Bloop Any ideas please? Thanks. Tim
tuk66
That address is from the import file: http://svn.prestashop.com/trunk/docs/csv_import/addresses_import.csv
FoodFromCyprus
That address is from the import file: http://svn.prestashop.com/trunk/docs/csv_import/addresses_import.csv Thanks for your reply. But why does that address appear in customer registrations that otherwise look legitimate? These are customers who, after registration, went on and created carts which they then abandoned possibly put off by this strange address that appears in their details. tuk66
That strange address is Apple's corporate address. So maybe joke?
FoodFromCyprus
That strange address is Apple's corporate address. So maybe joke? Maybe... It is just that in the last couple of months I had 3 customers, with real email addresses and abandoned carts, who registered with this address, hence I am worried in case the software automatically imports this address upon registration. For example if a customer by mistake leaves a required field blank or enters an invalid/unexpected value perhaps the system overrides his real address with this one. bluebottle
Hi, I've recently experienced a similar problem, with the Infinite Loop address being substituted for the customer's address at checkout. I've posted in this thread https://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/209118-apple-headquarters-address-on-order/ I'd really appreciate some help!
