domain.com -> redirect to lang /en/ and etc..

Hello,

 

I have my default language: LV but If i visit my site by www.mydomain.com it automatic redirect to www.mydomain.com/en/ but why? My default shop language LV and most traffic local people so I would like that it shows my language not EN. Its multi lang shop. How should I solve this problem?

If you browser language, top language is en, then en will be presented.

 

change browser language top lang to lv

 

note: you must clear cookies because ps remembers  last lang in cookie

also make sure not to be running PS debug mode, unless you are looking for errors...if not looking for php errors, then set to false

So it depens on MY browser (for example OPERA) language? Debug mode - in config/defines.inc ? (PS 1.6)?

 

But lot of people using EN for software.. mh..

debug mode was just letting you  know to have set to false when not actually debugging..

 

all browsers have language support, I can say for example, I prefer Danish, but the following languages are also acceptable.

 

so to test you default language, then set your browse language to  lv, english below that...clear cookie and re-visit shop...(without the /en/ in the url)...you should see lv
