ionutanghel
In the folder where prestashop is installed, the name of the folder modules changes into a string of random numbers. This happened initially with the modules "blockcart" and "blocklayered" which got moved to the /nou directory (where prestashop is istalled) and had their names changes into a string of numbers. Now, this change also happens to the folder "modules". Prestashop is installed at: artaceaiului.ro/nou/ On the same host there is also installed an opencart. The opencart is installed on root, while prestashop is installed in the directory /nou. The folder admin from opencart got moved into the folder /nou (where prestashop is installed) and had its name changed into a string of random numbers. From my understanding, this could be caused by some updates, but I have stopped any kind of automatic updates.
NemoPS
I doubt this is prestashop's fault. Something at an upper level in the folder structure must be editing folder names (otherwise it can't be explained, presta doesn't have anything like this). It's probably conflicting with opencart, I would use other directories if I were in you, and point the root to the opencart one, while routing prestashop to a subfolder (or better subdomain, as they conflict)
