ebesso
Hi Guys, I have prestashop installed, and when a customer checks out, PS adds the defailt products (blouse, dress etc) to the order both in the back office and in the email it sends the customer which looks very unprofessional. Any ideas why it would be doing that? I have deleted these products from the database and am not in demo mode.
NemoPS
Adds them in place of the real ones, or in addition to? Is there any pattern you can identify?
ebesso
In addition to. Nopattern. Sometimes it adds three. Sometimes it adds four. Very strange. It adds it in my backoffice and ont he email sent to the customer.Which file is responsible for generating the invoice?
NemoPS
should be pdfinvoicecontroller. Are you using any coupon related module? something like Awo Coupon perhaps?
vekia
there is also a chance that you removed some orders, and these orders weren't fully removed from database. it's a real store, or shop that is stil in development? if second, truncate ps cart tables, especially ps_cart_products :-)
ebesso
it is not only in the pdf invoice though, it also does it in the order that shows in the back office.@Vekia it is an actual store. What you are saying sounds like a possibility. How do I check or fix that?

tuk66
You haven't removed all test records in some tables. One must do it right in your database.
NemoPS
I second tuk66, there must be some entry left in ps_order_detail as well as in the product tables
ebesso
Hey guys, sorry thought i replied to the first guy. It ended up being a cache issue. Hadnt even thought about that someone suggested it to me, cleared the cache and doesnt seem to be a problem. I downloaded the whole database and queried it and it did not exist anywhere. Thanks a lot guys!
