Changed theme and product pages do not show.

I have changed my theme and the product images do not show. I have tried going to image in back office and regenerate thumbnails but I get the error below at the end of this message.

 

I have tried creating a php.ini and changing the some of the setting as shown below but has not solved the error. The regenerate  image must be working some as some of the images did work but not all and I still get the error. Any idea what I need to do or change, I have prestashop 1.6.0.9 and have 2756 products.
