hawks67
Hello, PrestaShop newbie here, just getting my shop up and running. The way my store operates, it's important for items that have been completely sold out to have their IN STOCK buttons change to OUT OF STOCK. Right now an item with 0 inventory still keeps its IN STOCK button and only when a customer clicks it do they receive a popup saying that there is no more inventory. This is frustrating for the customer and wastes time. I've seen the module that *disables* products with inventory = 0, and if that's what I have to use, then OK, but I'd rather investigate solutions that change the button to OUT OF STOCK if at all possible. Anyone ever do anything like this? Thank you in advance for your input. Gary
NemoPS
Actually it shouldn't still read in stock. Are you using a custom template? Are you getting In stock within a module, or the category view?
hawks67
Actually it shouldn't still read in stock. Are you using a custom template? Are you getting In stock within a module, or the category view? Thanks for your reply. I am just using the basic default bootstrap theme at the moment. I haven't even installed any modules to speak of, other than a couple of the included ones. The "in stock" button is showing up in both the regular category view and the product view, regardless of quantity on hand. (I only have one category.) I would click Add To Cart and I'd get a popup saying there was no inventory, but the In Stock would still be showing. I was hoping that once inventory went to 0, the Add To Cart and In Stock buttons would go away. Have you set your Availability Settings with the proper language?
