FCWC Posted November 6, 2014 Share Posted November 6, 2014 Have been reading all the woes in the forum(s) about email issues and I still haven't found a solution.Both Advanced parameters/Email and also Customer Service.First - Email. PHP works - I receive the test email.SMTP fails no matter what I tired. I even created a gmail account to test. Failed also. Note that I made 100% sure that the email within Preferences/Store Contacts is the same.I even deleted and recreated that info. So even though the PHP setting successfully sends an email. Customer service replies do not. Of course - just like everyone else it looks as though it has within saidpage. No actual email received. IMAP settings set - Sync returns "sync success" Help ... edbroker Posted November 30, 2014 Share Posted November 30, 2014 try in Advanced Parameters/Email put a check next to "Set my own SMTP parameters (for advanced users ONLY)" Then set PORT to 587 not "25" thats what a tech rep at webhostinghub.com told me also make sure the other setting are up to date like "Mail domain name" - your domain name "SMTP server" - in my case its mail.avalonbodyproducts.com and "SMTP user" in my case its [email protected] Im just trying to help Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
