Layered navigation creates internal server error after update

I updated the Layered Navigation module and now I have an internal server error everytime someone tries to use the sort functions, select products from a specific manufacturer, or even go to the second page of products in the product list. The customers see that the site seems to be forever loading the page but after a little debugging I see the post is never received by the server.

 

I'm running Prestashop 1.5.2 (old I know, but the client can't update after some customization) and it's version 2.0 of the Layered Navigation Module.

 

One other possibly interesting piece of info, the module is hooked to the right column which is where it's displayed. It's also hooked to the Header position. When I delete it from the header position, it will no longer display how many products each manufacturer has in the Layered Navigation Catalog (it shows up but does not function) but my pagination will work and so will the sort by drop down that came with the template.

 

After reading this forum, I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling it numerous times, adding www. in front of the URL in SEO & URLs, and changing the permission on the modules folder to 755 - none of it has made a difference. I am also running friendly URLS, but changing that doesn't fix the problem.

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
