Shipment by volume - Module or help request?

Hi,

 

I'm selling cosmetic containers, also from one piece up. This means that I have products with low weight, high volume and low price per unit.

 

In my country I ship with posts, that are less expensive, but the shipment costs/package still affect too much on the small orders, in comparison to the order value. Ex: purchasing two bottles you pay 3 eur, but shipment costs are 4,40/package.

 

The Post allows me to send my products also in an padded envelope, which has lower prices. The Post does NOT apply the volume weight system neither for envelopes, nor for packages. The costs are calculated only by weight.

 

I would like so set a courrier also for envelopes, but I can't figure out how to do that or if it is possible. In practice, I'd need a module that allows me to input the dimensions of the envelope (I use only one dimension, ex. 20x15x5) and the price/wieght scale for the envelope, and also the dimensions and weight of the single product.

 

So when a customer takes 4 bottles, he pays as for a 150 g envelope, when he takes 5 bottles he automatically must pay 4,40 (package). When a customer takes 10 deo sticks, he pays as for a 500 g envelope, when he takes 11 stick he automatically must pay 4,40 (package).

 

Is it possible to do something like this? I would really appreciate any help
