Gastono
Hi all, Prestashop 1.6.0.6 default theme. Been trying for days now to implement google remarketing tag to my shop and its driving me mad. Been reading every post (except spanish) to get it working but all i keep getting from google tag assistant in chrome is the error "no http response" read that more people were asking for a solution for prestashop 1.6 so i'm thinking that maybe its a bug or something has to be done differently. So a question to everyone, has anyone got it working on 1.6 ( if so please post your footer.tpl or what ever file you have the google tag in). Gonne give up for now before i trow my laptop out the window.
sucemaya
Hello!! I am stuck in the same point with the "no http response error". The problem seems to me Prestashop 1.6 messing up with javascript code. The remarketing code should apperar in the source code "as is", but Prestashop changes the order of the javascript and puts variable declarations at the bottom of the page. I am trying to find if there is any method to insert code fragments into the source code and tell Prestashop to leave the code unaltered. Anyone can help us please? Best Regards. sucemaya
Hello again! In the end, I was able to fix this problem aplying the bypass suggested by gabeshackle in this post: http://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/315798-no-html-allowed-in-blockcmsinfo/?p=1666595 It is really easy to implement and gives the possibility to tell specific js fragments not to be defered to the bottom of the page. Best Regards.
