Step 3 - IIS install virtual directories

Hello,
I was so impressed when I found prestashop and really want to use it for one of my shops, but can't get passed step 3. Once I did get an error notification that 'settings.inc.php could not be created and should now manually be created' etc. but when I did this it didn't improve anything. I made certain that all of my directories had write permissions and still no change. The wizard doesn't even show any errors now, it just does nothing.
I am installing in a virtual directory on my shared hosting account running IIS 7. Is there any known problems/work-arounds for this problem?

The problem was related to permissions. Although all permissions were set via FTP, the server root directory permissions were not. I logged onto my hosting control panel and set the write permissions there and voila!
Now looking forward to using it.

I have similar problem in Xampp. When i'm installing, I stuck in third step. Prestashop does not show any errors,
but I ca not go to step 4. MySql works OK. Maybe you have some ideas?
