Drop downs being truncated - can these be made the same length

Hi,

 

All of the products in our shop are customisable and I'm having an issue with truncated drop down lists.  Here's an image so you can see what I'm talking about.

 

 

Please could someone advise where a fixed length can be set for this field? - I've followed a few leads but haven't found anything that works as yet.
