Product layout help: Text below pictures, edit white image frame, website width.

Hello Prestaprofessionals!

I'm trying to make my product layout even better.
I have stumbled upon a problem that I need your help
to solve.

Editing image size is no problem, but there is a frame behind
the image that still remains the same. How do I edit this?

1. How do I edit the size of the fram behind an item?

I made two different sizes of pictures, as you can see the the frame behind
(a white box) and the cost, name follows in the same manner, even if I make
the size of the image huge.

Where do I find a solution to this, so the white frame does not but my images away from each other
and also makes them not push them down (size).

My second question will be:
2. How do I put the productname under the picture?

("test 1" in this case).

Third...
3. If I want large images, Is there a way to make the whole page wider?

s the name of the box that contains the products.

And if you want to edit the box , its in the product-list.tpl
