hinks
HI I am trying to edit my the top horizontal menu bar for my website, more specifically i am trying to add an image to each heading in the sub-menu, When testing it on Inspect Element in Firefox it works like a charm. However by doing some research to try and find what files need to be edited in order to change it permanently I am pointed towards editing the "BLOCKTOPMENU" .tpl file however in looking in this file i cannot seem to find the code when I was in the Inspect Element in Firefox. Is it a different file???? I am currently using the default bootstrap theme. Any help will be greatly appreciated

vekia
contents of block top menu are generated in php file so in this case it's necessary to alter module .php file there is no other way to achieve what you expect. you can do some css tricks to add some ::before or ::after images (to <li> elements) but cases like that needs an inspection of website. it's because it is hard to write universal solution.
