Free Shipping

I am a new user to Prestashop and is having a very frustrating problem.

 

I have configured the UPS module in Prestashop and set up my UPS account with UPS. But when I do a test run I keep getting "free shipping", even though I have set up the shipping cost.

 

How do I solve this problem?

Can you actually select a carrier? How did you setup shipping ranges exactly?

Yes I have selected UPS as my default carrier, the shipping range is as follows:

 

Will be applied when the price is >= 0.000000

Will be applied when the price is < 10000.000000

This is the default setting.( my shipping charge is

$9.90

hm, no I mean if you can complete the checkout and select it, as there might simply be no carriers available

 

Also check for which customer groups they are available. WHen nothing is available prestashop will always display free shipping

Because of the diffeculties I was having, I uninstall the ups module and added the carrier the other way. One of the reason I did this  is because I am using a dropshipper. I only need the shipping cost to be added to the cost of the purchase whis is whats happening now.

 

however I would like to learn how to use the module as my hope is to be able to do my own shipping in the future. thank you for your help. and I would like to keep in touch with you. I Have completer the prestashop 101 videos, down some of your free modules, and will be purchasing some later,
