hippooflove
I currently have a shop using 1.4.11 and due to it being non responsive and some modules I would like to use not being compatible with this version, I am thinking of upgrading to 1.6. I know my current template will not work on 1.6 so will need to change that as well. Is it better to try to upgrade to 1.6 and change the theme or would it be advisable to start again with a clean version of 1.6 and new theme, then try and use my existing products and customer data bases. Your advise gratefully received on this one please. Barry
El Patron
upgrade from 1.4 to current 1.6 should not be an issue. follow this guide http://doc.prestashop.com/display/PS16/Updating+PrestaShop the most important step is to create working copy of your production shop...here you will test upgrade Note: upgrade is pretty easy, but new themes (which rock) are more complicted...here you will spend more time (on test shop) learning...
