[SOLVED] Emails from sendtoafriend

Hi to all,

I knoe a lot of people have troubles with sendtoafriend module, when you try to send the e-mail it returns one error. I has the some problem in Godaddy hosting. The contact-form works fine but sendtoafriend dont work.

I have more than 1 store with prestashop, and it works in old versions, but my recent stores with version 1.2.5 dont work.

I solved this problem with swift.

So, download one old version of prestashop (i think 1.2.4 works fine), than, upload the swift folder to tools/ and check the permissions to 705 for folder, sub-folder and files.

It works for me, maybe works for you too

Thank for your suggestion, I have done this but problem is not solve.

My problem is when i click one product name is 'Pocket Scale' and click 'send to a friend' mail send successfully, but when i click individualy another products name are 'Hanging Scale Type Two' and 'Hanging Scale Type one' this time when i click send to a friend mail not send successfully, see an error 'An error occurred during the process'.

I think the two product name are little same so the mail is not send. because when i change the product name mail send successfully.

My prestashop version is 1.2.5 final.

Please give me some suggestion to solve this problem.

Hey i'm facing a problem.
In 'send to a friend' module 14 charecters of any product name can be sent successfully but more than 14 characters of any product name is not being sent successfully.whenever I've tried to send a 'product name' that has charecters more than 14, right then an error is being encountered as like 'An error occurred during the process'.

Where is the problem, please help me.
