geochrist
Hi, I have a DSLR digital camera that shoots pictures with a ratio of 3:2. I understand that prestashop uses square pictures with an aspect ratio of 1:1. I do not wish to crop my product pictures to form 1:1 aspect ratio pictures. Is there a way to change the aspect ratio that prestashop supports to 3:2? If I change from the backoffice the ratio of the pictures to 3:2 the pictures in the product page continue to show a white bar at the top and the bottom although they are 3:2 aspect ratio pictures. The box within which prestashop presents the product pictures continues to have an aspect ratio of 1:1. Do you all shoot at 1:1 aspect ratio? Thank you George
dioniz
Have you regenerated pictures after changing ratio in BO?

musicmaster
Seems to me that in that case you need a template that supports such pictures.
geochrist
I solved my problem. It was the usal cache problem. I converted all the product pictures to sizes that are 3:2 compatible: 80x53 98x65 125x83 250x167 458x305 800x533 Then I regenerated all thumnails. I cleared smarty cache from the backoffice. I cleared my browsers cache. Everything looks and works perfect. No need to change my canon dslr. Thank you all George
